Lynn began her career more than twenty five years ago as an interior designer at a local furniture retailer in Nashville. Jamaica and Maureen formed a friendship while attending the interior design program at O'More College of Design. During Jamaica's freshman year at O'More, she pursued her first design job and was hired as Lynn's design assistant. Meanwhile, Maureen began working as an intern at Interiors, Inc. in Columbia, TN. After spending thirteen years at the furniture retailer, Lynn ventured out in 1998 to form her own company known as Lynn Grubbs Interiors. Jamaica joined Lynn at her new company, where they worked together for ten years. Maureen worked for Interiors, Inc. for seven years before deciding to move to New York. A year later, Maureen came back to Interiors Inc. eventually taking over the business as her own. She ran the company in Columbia, TN for seven years.
Throughout the years, Lynn, Jamaica and Maureen maintained a working and personal relationship. In search of broadening their design services and clientele, Lynn and Jamaica explored various business possibilities. The opportunity to merge Lynn Grubbs Interiors and Interiors Inc. appeared to be the most beneficial to their clients. In 2008, the two companies came together to form Red Leaf Interiors, LLC.
